Not sure if this helps, but you must have the AC adapter attached after resetting when you try to power the system on.

yes. I've open a case by Lenovo. An engineer went on site and he did the following:
- Open the rear case
- unplug the tiny connector of the battery (be careful, it's really tiny and may break easily)
- unplug the tiny connector of the CMOS battery (same type of tiny plug)
- then plugged both back
- then power on.
The engineer thought it was an known issue that a BIOS update should fix but mine is running under latest release (1.18). No luck then.
So today, I'm running again the device out of battery to see if it will do the same again.
I'll keep you posted.

quick feedback, after several trials, now it works perfectly.
Don't know what happened.
