X1 Carbon 5th gen (20HR0021MZ) WAN issue

Dear all,

I own the X1 Carbon 5th gen (20HR0021MZ) and I am running Windows 10. I just entered a micro SIM card into the micro-SIM-card tray. However, the "Cellular" option doesn't display in the Network settings. I installed the latest Sierra drivers and it was said that the device is now usable. However, I can't find anything related to Sierra in the Device manager under "Network Adapters". Only my bluetooth and ethernet ports and a bunch of "WAN miniport". Any idea??

Thanks!

Hi x1c5_user, and welcome to the Lenovo User Community!

So that model does not come with the WWAN option. Did you add it yourself?

I don't work for Lenovo. I'm a crazy volunteer!
