X1 Carbon 5th gen or 6th gen

2019-07-04, 5:49 AM

Lenovo is having a July 4 sale.  The chepeasr X1 Carbon gen 5 is $849.  It has the 6th gen Intel chip.  The Carbon X1 gen 6 has the optional touchscreen, which is a nice feature, but that will be over $1450.  There is no touchscreen available on the gen 5.  The gen 6 has the 7th gen Intel chip which is faster.  I am using basic internet browsing and video streaming at home.  Is it worth the extra $500?

HI Guys,

That X1 Carbon 6th with Gen 8 CPU  platform kabylake .  It is best than x1 Carbon 5th beyond all doubt.  Per Gen new product will with new feature and technology .such as: X1 Carbon 6th with Gen2 Mini RJ45 port . I think ,if you have more requires for self .Such as : Reviewing large documents or office work ...etc . X1 Carbon 6th is best choose.  If current x1 Carbon 5th can able to covery you requires .  It is appropriate for you . Notes: Just personal suggest  .
