I posted earlier about my issues with Bluetooth then the NoHwDrips coming up in my sleep study. I was at ~1000 mW drain while in sleep. Although not the ideal fix for most, I performed a full reset of my computer (deleting all files) and reintalling Windows. I only have tried sleep for ~1 hour, but during that time the drain was only 40 mW (which I believe is much closer to normal). The only thing draining it was NoHwDrips but it was only 17% acive time. We'll see if it actually continues like this or if it takes a nose dive after more time.

I'm also on version 1803 and I have all Windows supplied updates installed.

So my X1 Carbon 6th was actually going into proper sleep mode. For 1 day. Now it is back to the usual "NoHwDrips" again and severe battery drain in sleep. I made no changes to the system. Lenovo please fix or I will have to return the laptop.

As a comparison, my X1 Carbon with nothing but Chrome and updates installed draws about 600mw in modern standby. My XPS 13 draws about 130mw in S3 sleep. That's about 3 days vs 13 days of max standby. It sounds to me that nobody is getting any better than 500-600mw power draw on the X1 Carbon 6th Gen.

With the latest BIOS 1.25 and all Windows updates installed, I am now getting 1.25% of drain per hour (~700mW per hour). It's definitely an improvement from 2.50% I had before, but it's still too much.

Also on BIOS 1.25 and with all Windows updates installed.
No difference here compared with BIOS 1.23. I have nearly 2%% of drain per hour. It is quite unacceptable.
As this thread goes longer, I wonder if the Lenovo people have made any progress on investigating this issue.
Lenovo, please fix this issue soon!

Also here no change: Bios 1.25, Windows 1803 with all updates, all Vantage supplied updates.
Battery drain between 1.6% and 2.7% per hour.
Reason: NoHwDrips.INTERNAL_BLOCKER.

I also continue to have excessive drain on X1 Yoga 3rd Gen. Usually 14-20% per night, or around 1%-1.5% per hour. I have stopped using "Sleep" altogther and now use "hibernate". Very annoying.
Not sure if this is a Windows issue, or a Lenovo issue, but, Lenovo, if you're watching these forums, please give us a solution. Either allow the "S3 Sleep Mode" that other OEMs seem to offer, or fix the NWDrip issue that seems to plague all of us.
Making me second guess the switch from MacBook Pro. The specs on the MB Pro are dated, but at least you could close the lid overnight and not end up with 80% battery. Awful.
Lenovo, PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE.
Thank you.
