X1 Carbon 6th gen - Intel 8650u default XTU settings?

2018-11-28, 17:13 PM

I was messing around with XTU on my X1C, and wanted to reset it to default settings. I tried to reset to default using the built-in default profile, but it seems to be dead wrong. For one, the default power limits are way too high, so I don't trust any value in there.

Does anyone know what the power limits are from the factory? There doesn't seem to be a way to restore them from here... my previous settings are lost and I know this thing can't sustain 25 W for very long.

Try go to profile, double click on default, then go back to your core setting. With luck, yellow proposed values should appear on the values you changed, and just click accept.
