X1 Carbon Bluetooth Issue

I just received my new X1 Carbon yesterday and I connected my labtop with bluetooth headset (plantronics Go2).

It sounds work well for a while, and started having background noise, and lag.

I've never experienced any issue with my headset before.

What should I do?

Re: X1 Carbon Bluetooth Issue

Hi Johnak01,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

I am sorry to hear that you are facing an issue with Bluetooth on ThinkPad X1 Carbon.

Try the following:

  1. Please check with updating the Bluetooth drivers from ThinkVantage system update application.
  2. Right click on computer and go to manage and click on Device Manager, Expand Bluetooth Radios. Right click on Generic Bluetooth device and go to Properties of this device. Go to the Power Management tab and unselect (clear) "Allow the computer to turn off this device"

Please click here to know steps on the setting.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,

Hemanth Kumar
