X1 Carbon Gen 2 Graphics Driver error

Hi to all,

Quick question for the experts!

I have a 2nd gen x1 Carbon that kept suffering repeatedly from a blue screen (running 8.1).

I did some research online that pointed to an issue with the Intel HD Grahics Driver (10.18.10.4425), I tried to update the driver but could not so just left it disabled.

My laptop now starts fine and has full functionality with the exception of now I can only run from my single screen and cannot connect to any other monitors.

Does anyone have any ideas that may help? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that does not work, when I go to Lenovo download page and try the latest driver, it says the driver is current.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Re: X1 Carbon Gen 2 Graphics Driver error

Hi AWC5,

Welcome to Lenovo Community! And happy to have you here.

Try to update the drivers directly from Intel website and also manually install it from Device Manager and go for the zip package instead of exe one & update us how it goes.
