X1 Carbon Gen 2 (Machine Type 20A8S01F00) shows 1366 x 768 as max resolution

2017-09-22, 16:24 PM

I have a X1 Carbon Gen 2 machine type 20A8S01F00. The machine info page for the model and serial number states that the max resolution is 1600x900.

"i5-4300U(2.9GHz), 8GB RAM, 128GB Solid State Drive, 14in 1600x900 LCD, Intel HD Graphics, Wireless option, WWAN option, Bluetooth, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure Chip, Camera, 8c Li-Ion, Win7 Pro 64"

When I look in windows 10 (it came with that when I bought it), it says that the max resolution is 1366x768.

Is this a bug, do I need a new driver, is there some setting in the BIOS or something else.

Any help would be appreciated.
