I have got the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and straight from the box, the right Shift Key is not working.
I have updated the drivers and upgraded to Windows 8.1 Pro.
Does anyone have the same problem? If so, any ideas on fixing it?

I’m really sorry to hear that the right shift key is not working in your brand new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon.
Make sure that the keyboard is free of dust or dirt. Turn the keyboard upside down to allow for any foreign matter to fall out.
Since the issue is only with one specific key, that particular key could be damaged.
I would strongly suggest you to contact our technical support for assistance.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I called Support and concluded that its a defect and needs repair in the depo. I had shipped yesterday and now waiting for it come back.
