X1 Carbon SSD firmware update

2013-06-06, 22:32 PM

Hi,

I downloaded the firmware file and try to create a Bootable USB memory stick to upgrade the SDD.

I was not successful as the ISO file did not create a bootable USB media.

What is the process to follow as the X1 is not having any DVD/CD to boot from.

thanks

Here is he answer...

Bought an external DVD/CD reader and was able to boot on the created CD using the ISO format.

Worked like a charm.
