X1 Extreme Audio Stops Functioning

2019-06-20, 17:06 PM

I have been plagued by my audio completely stopping at random times on my X1E. There are no software crashes evident. A restart will NOT bring the audio back. I have to do a full shutdown/restart.

There are 4 audio drivers )Intel, 2 NVIDIA and Realtek) and I haven't a clue which one is for what purpose. I suspect the problem is software/driver related but wanted to see if anyone else has had audio problems. Or if anyone has ideas how to isolate the cause.

The audio crash continues. Audio stops completely and requires a full shut down to be brought back to life. All drivers are up to date. I wish I knew which of the 3 listed audio cards did what so I could try other drivers. Any suggestions appreciated.
