I have the same problem (X1E Gen2, 64GB, touch).

Without proper support from Lenovo this would be my last Lenovo. €4000 for a device and no support. Gosh!

 

I'm running Linux, all power savings activated. No load. CPUs between 801 and 1000MHz, but 801MHz mostly.
