Same issue here. Thinkpad P1 Gen2

Occasional missed keystrokes.

Is anyone here running Linux? If so, do you have the issue as well?

Hi,

it has been confirmed in that thread that missing keystrokes happens also in BIOS so it does not matter if you use Windows or Linux.

It is shame that nobody from Lenovo is responding here about status of the problem. Very bad...

Can I ask you if this behaviour is normal also for you?

I installed Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and I'm seeing that without ac-power I have "Current EDP/Limit Throttling" always ON (see the photo).

When I attach power adapter I have "Termal Throttling" cycling ON and OFF forever and "Power Limit Throttling" and "Current EDP/Limit Throttling" going ON sometimes. The cpu and memory load is very low

Correct, you cant use/reach full Performance/Clock with Battery. Lenovo decides to avoid this. (this was in X1 Gen1 too)

But not so important. Stuttering and Mising Keys are driving me crazy.

The issue is very annoying and present in both Windows and Linux.

Now i wrote german support and they told me "Not a known issue" O.o

I have to send escalation data... if they cant provide solution in the next 10 days, we will quit with lenovo.

Every year its getting worse with bios, issues and bugs!

Not sure if this has anything to do with the issue, but today I noticed that my external keyboard is much more responsive, here's a video:

Thats because the internal Keyboard do have a low "tickrate". I dont know what the hz amount is. But yeah, could be the problem to. If you write fast and press a key in a bad "timing" the keystroke wont be registered.
