I offered my help. Lenovo picked up my machine, and sent it to Slovakia. They said they would send it to a lab in Japan. The new one I got only have a (normal) amount of missing keystrokes. I guess it's not a software problem then, as I got my drives swapped with same installation and BIOS.

Well as Lenovo doesn't appear to want to be involved here I'm thinking to send my unit back for replacement. If you're within the return period I'd suggest same.

Don't send your machine back. There might be a possible firmware solution available very soon. I'm testing it later today.

Same here!

Underwhelmed by the keystrokes, the mesh of the touchscreen over the UHD OLED and the battery time of only 4 hours with the 4k screen and i9 processor. If I'd known I would have chosen the i7 cpu and a HD non-touch screen.

Where did you get that firmware?

I volunteered when Lenovo asked for help. They picked up my machine and shipped a new one.

They sent me a firmware to test today, and I have installed it. I have no missing keystrokes at all, even under high CPU load. So apparently it's solved, at least on my machine. The new machine they sent have fewer missing keystrokes than the old one. So it's a little difficult to test.

I'm not allowed to share the firmware, so please don't ask.

@TomDenmark

Can you expand which device firmware are we talking about so I can keep my eyes open when they update the Drivers site?

For me, all depends on how long the new firmware (if they have really found a solution) will take. I'm sorry but you are not an official voice TomDenmark.

I'm preparing to abandon the ship.

All my story with Lenovo about this laptop, starting from fake delivery dates (enormous delays on both of the two orders of the same model, only to have one) to quality and timing of service (laptop returned with a key deformed), and finally defect of fabrication (this one) made me loosing much more money then the value of the laptop.
