The mouse freezes are another problem and can be resolved by using this little app.

Try it.

I updated to the BIOS at 1.31 but when I use 2 SSDs the problem comes back. The keys do not work: R, T, F, G, V, B. I understand this is called "missing keystroke".

Laptop: X1 Extreme Gen 2.

I also have 2 SSDs and am having problems after BIOS 1.31.

For me the issue with the new BIOS (v1.31) is that the laptop is running much hotter than before, probably 5-10 degrees C hotter. I did not measure before, but now it always feels uncomfortable to touch. I start to really hate this laptop. Lenovo's top machine and it is a piece of junk.

While my laptop may run a bit warmer, I notice better performance... both CPU and GPU. I recently updated the integrated Intel video drivers (update from Intel, not Lenovo), and my system is running even better, including better runtime on battery.

I am running dual NVME drives without issue with BIOS 1.31.

So I guess the keyboard on my X1E2 may be the cause.

Before BIOS 1.31, the default temperature limit is 80 degree C. Now it's 97.

I downgraded from 1.31 to 1.30.

Too much problems reported. And I think the keyboard issue went back with 1.31.

I am trying again 1.30 (with ECFW 1.22) if the problem was fixed with that update.

Could you private message me the 1.30 bios? I'd like to try 1.31 but only if I have the file to roll back.
