Disabled Intel graphics. Another world, really. Notebook shines in that way. Even the brightness issue was resolved. Except of course that the battery life is even worse. But, I already get used to have -3 hours of battery. Having -2 hours it is okay.

yea i just disabled mine. night and day difference. it performs like it does in linux. i am running pop_os linux which is really fast! it feels like a phone where applications open up instantly. windows was always laggy. now that i've disabled hybrid, windows is way smoother. no more stutters. sad that we have to trade battery life. but i usually have mine plugged in.

Has someone of you who disabled Intel HD the FHD screen? I'm thinking the lag is related to the Intel iGPU that is insufficient for 4K....maybe?

I have the 4k OLED.

I also want to make another update. so disabling hybrid graphics did help a little. but the stuttering is still there. especially typing. there's just this lag that happens every 30 seconds or so. my mouse also still lags, it's just a much shorter lag. but definitely noticeable. very annoying considering how much i paid for this **bleep** laptop and considering it has an i9 and 32GB of the  fastest ram i could find for it.

How did you disable intel graphics? It needs to be done in Bios.

Joloriquelme, is bios 1.29-1.22 equivalent to 1.30 for keystrokes problem or do you think 1.30 is better? Thank you.

After all updates and recommended fixes this is still happening. SO FRUSTRATED. This laptop was WAY too expensive to be having this kind of issue.  I'm also having the mouse lag issues that others have reported.

well after using it with hybrid graphics disabled for a couple of days now i can say it did not fully fix the problem. i am STILL getting lag. and i'm thinking it has to do with constant thermal throttling. i want to scream. so annoyed at this whole thing.

I was considering buying this model laptop (on sale for 40% off atm) to replace my aging E520.   After reading this thread and hearing about all the issues people have had I am now thinking of holding off.  Can I ask existing owners to comment - if you could go back, would you still buy the X1 Extreme Gen2 or not?
