X1 Yoga (1st gen) Battery Replacement

2017-06-30, 4:34 AM

Hi there, I planned to replace my X1 Yoga 1st gen battery. In the part list I saw this:

00HW028 N Internal,4c,52Wh,LiIon,LGC (my current battery)

00HW029 N Internal,4c,52Wh,LiIon,SMP

01AV409 N Internal,4c,56Wh,LiIon,LGC

01AV410 N Internal,4c,56Wh,LiIon,SMP

Can I choose the 56Wh version to replace mine?

Thanks in advance.

The differences are the battery capacity and their manufacturers (LGC, SMP).

Re: X1 Yoga (1st gen) Battery Replacement

I'm not aswering any question but kind on wondering if I can install a 56wh instead of a 52wh?

I have a X1 Yoga Gen 1 model 20QC and I want to replace the internal battery which is not a big deal as ton are offed on Ebay.

My battery is a 52WH model 00HW029. A battery exist 56wh for the OLED version of the same laptop. The reference is 01AV410 and It may mount at the place of the 52wh.

I compare the picture of those and look similar. What do you think, it could work?
