Didn't care about the Win key, everything's stored in the bios. When you reinstall, Windows will be already activated.

Re: X1 Yoga 3rd gen. CPU frequency pegged at max

Here's a slightly off-topic question but I wonder if this too stems from bad power plan configuration on Lenovo's part, so I would like to know if you guys who have reinstalled with stock Windows experience the same thing.

When my screen shuts off, my X1Y3 also goes into Modern Standby. I have set the sleep timer much higher than the screen off timer but Windows doesn't seem to care. This is highly annoying since I can't run downloads or even play music with the screen off.

Now, are others experiencing this too? And more importantly, are those of you who have reinstalled also seeing this behavior? (@someotherguy, @jefferai)

Just tried and it work as intended for me, screen off timer kicks in and standby later if you set them this way. I have another question now that I fresh installed windows, lenovo vantage(the microsoft store app) is enough to get every lenovo bloat...ehm driver and program suite?  Do I need to download anything else?

Thanks Arjov. Do you know if it worked as intended before the reinstallation too? Otherwise we should pass this on to someotherguy as yet one more thing to investigate.

Sorry, I can't answer your driver question, I'm new to Lenovo.
