X1 Yoga - Battery "94% available (plugged in, not charging) - Windows 10 Anniversary.

Hi,

I noticed the message "plugged in, not charging" when hovering my mouse over the battery icon.

Why is it not charged to 100%?  Is something wrong with the charger or battery?

This is a deliberate strategy to help look after the battery. In my experience, the battery often won't recharge until power is available and the charge is below 90%. Once charging starts, the battery should recharge to 100%.

Good day.

This is generally my experience with my X1 Carbon 3, also. Seems to be doing a good job: 16 months of use, 219 cycles, and only 3.5% wear down from design capacity.

Regards.
