I am thrilled to join the Ghost Club!  Mine seems to happen along the top of the screen.  It will switch browser tabs, minimize or close windows, etc.  [....]  What kind of screen do you all have?  Is this problem only with the HDR display (that's what I have), or with any display option?

Welcome to Ghost Town! Mine has a pretty bad case of the touchies as well, and also an HDR unit.

Re: X1 Yoga Gen 3 Ghost touch

I know I've already posted in here about my ghost touch issue. I just thought I'd pop in here to add, like all the replied above, I have the HDR screen.

Re: X1 Yoga Gen 3 Ghost touch

I'm curious as to what you meant by updating the firmware as well.

Re: X1 Yoga Gen 3 Ghost touch

I ran Lenovo system update and there was a touch screen firmware update... ran it and since then no issue.

(of course the problem is quite intermittent for me at the moment, its still a little early to cry victory.)

since the problem seams to occuring for everybody at the exact same place, it would probably not be very difficult for lenovo to exlcude the touch "pixel" that is faulty from the grid... i doubt anybody would notice....
