Lenovo Supprt has resolved the color settings issue on my X1 Yoga 2nd gen (Oled).
Bascially I uninstalled the current intel driver and installed the previous version (220.127.116.1127) and after rebooting the color settings are back to normal.
In case anyone need the previous intel driver please send your request here.

Please download the files which were given by Lenovo Support from the below link:
If I remember correctly you only need uninstall your current driver then install the file "n1nta05w.exe" and then reboot your laptop.
I am including other files as I am unsure if they are helpful.

Thanks for the link. Do you have any idea what the other three files are for? When you say "If I remember correctly" does that apply to which file to use (n1nta05w.exe) or that just removing the current driver and installing the old one and rebooting is all that is needed. I would hate to remove the current driver only to find out I really didn't install the older one, but instead installed something else. Thanks for all the help!

Will we have an official update resolving this issue ??! Or not yet. the suggested solution is a workaround which didnt work with me

There are a bunch of thread about this, since it effects more than just one model. The latest info can be found here in Sues1's message in the Gen3 thread.
(Short form: the fix is slated to be part of the July Win10 update).
