Just purchased a X1 Yoga with OLED display - Windows 10, intel i7, etc.
I have a Dell monitor at work and when I connect it to the HDMI port on my laptop, it recognizes the monitor (control panel/Intel HD graphics). However, the monitor keeps showing a message "No HDMI cable. the display will go into power save mode in 5 minutes".
Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried updating all the drivers, the windows button + P, nothing works.

Check that you have set the native resolution of the external monitor and experiment with any alternative refresh rates that are available using Graphic Properties..., Display.
If that doesn't work, try connecting the monitor to the X1 Yoga's mini DisplayPort socket using an appropriate cable. If the Dell monitor has a DisplayPort socket, I'd used a mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable, otherwise you would need a mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable or adapter.
If none of this helps, it is possible there is a problem with the monitor's firmware, so I would contact Dell and see what they say.
