It might be a good idea to check out and install the current WinTab driver for your X1 Yoga. Per the WinTab readme file, the WinTab driver addresses and enables the USB Input Device.

I am one of those unfortunate customer who had his touch screen replaced.  The touch screen function was working for an hour or so then it went dead again.

My Wintab driver version is 7.3.2-14 and I have choose the option to not go to sleep or tunr off in device manager.

I would like to post an update to my post as my touch screen - it works now, both touch and pen.

My situation was - the on site engineer came to replace my screen, it was tested working when he was here but after he left for a hour or so the problem came back.  Then he guided me to update my firmware to 1.15 and also to update the Wacom drivers to 7.3.3.x

Then SHUT DOWN - not reboot.  You should get the functionailty back.  Turn off the power settings for the close lib and power settings.

You can still have your screen saver if you like.  I am keeping my fingers crossed

I have the same issue.

The Wacom is not recognized at all.

Wondering whether Lenovo has any intention to resolve this issue or not.

No solution yet came out!!

I have the same issue on my X1 Yoga.  I'm using the Intel Driver 20.19.15.4444.  This has been an issue with the last two versions of this driver.

Same issue here, no touchscreen or pen functionality. I was using both, not too long ago, and maybe applied an update through System Update - I do not remember. I have the latest BIOS firmware, and video drivers installed. I tried that "beta" firmware that was provided by someone at Lenovo, but it did not run. One really really odd thing, is that the touchscreen and pen drivers literally disappeared from device manager:

I had the same problem where I could not use the touchscreen. However the pen functionality was still working. I had to go into device manager -> Human Interface Devices and update the Wacon Device. I shutdown the PC and after powering back ON, the problem was resolved. I hope this helps other Lenovo community members.

It would be nice to be able to automatically update or at least receive notification(s) when newer drivers are made available.

I'm also having the same problem: my x1 yoga touch screen does not work once the screen turns off after not using it for awhile. I'm realizing that this is a intrinsic product issue reading this thread. I've been using x1 yoga for the past month and paid $2500+ for this apparently a piece of crap. The problem seems to have been reported for a while and It is just outrageous how there is no complete solutions or any kind of compensating offer from Lenovo yet...
