X1 carbon touch onelink dualscreen + optimisations suggestions

2014-11-04, 12:33 PM

I get some problems with the onelink pro dock and my dual screens 2560px.

I know that there is a limitation when the displayport is used with the pro dock, but i would like lenovo improve there pro dock firware !

Here is my conf :

X1 carbon touch + onelink pro dock

1 one displayport switch

2 screens 27p 2560px plugged on the switch

And, this is not working...

Please lenovo, could you in you next prodock firmware, give us the ability to keep the full display port support to plug a display port switch. or simply add a second displayport on it

The intel 5000 support easely 2 x 2560 px monitors... and no, i don't want use the minidisplay port on the laptop and the displayport on the prodock, i just want the onelink cable on my laptop.

On your next X1 release, please add theses features :

1- 10 to 12 Gb Ram (8Gb is not enought)

2 - onelink prodock with external GPU (to get more power...), or a true pro dock with lots of display port

3- Thunderbolt

4 - 4 core i7 processor...

2560px screens is now a base, you should allow dual external screen with this resolution.

I am ok to be your beta tester :)

I hope this message will be read by the lenovo team.
