I am facing massive problems with my X1 (i5, Windows 7 64 bit). The internal and external displays start flickering randomly, sometimes even directly when booting the system. In Windows when this happens very often the dislay settings are gone, so I have to set them manually again. Sometimes the green power button flickers also, while the display flashes. This happens without any periphery as well as with different external displays. Things that have been done already:
new mainboard (by Lenovo support)
new OS installation (only 5 days ago)
updates of all drivers using Lenovo tool
updates of Windows
One thing that might be an indicator to the problem: The resource monitor says that igfxsrvc Module has been aborted, often shortly after the problem occurs.
Has anyone another idea, what to do and what to look for?
Thanks a lot!

This is really hard to arrange the display setting again and again, In order to resolve the issue I suggest you to update the Video driver, Power Management and BIOS of your system manually. Kindly download and install the Display driver, Power Management and BIOS update utility from the below mentioned web link as per your Operating System.
This may help you to resolve the issue. Kindly update your BIOS at last.

thanks for you reply! I did all this already in the past, I also tried older versions of the video driver because there was an update while I was owning the notebook. Same problem all the time. What I find really disturbing: The display problem also occurs when no hdd is in the system while it waits and the BIOS says something like "noot bootable OS". It also occurs when the BIOS menu is open and even instantly after switching it on. Not all the time, but every time you use it, sooner or later. There can also be hours of working with no problems at all. Since the video driver is not stored in the BIOS, this should be an indicator to a hardware problem, right?
Thanks again, I appreciate every help I can get, since I am waiting for the support to reply about a week now... (24/7/3yrs!!!)
