X120e: Suspend problems after BIOS upgrade.

I have a ThinkPad X120e (0596RZ6), which had BIOS version 1.08, that I have upgraded to 1.16 (8FET32WW).

I used a CD-ROM to upgrade the BIOS (8fuj09uc.iso) and all went smoothly.

Now, whenever I try to suspend to RAM while running on battery, it visibly suspends, cannot resume, and drains the battery as quickly as it would while running normally.

It worked just fine with 1.08, and nothing has changed in the OS that could break it.

Re: X120e: Suspend problems after BIOS upgrade.

The problem persists after downleveling the BIOS to 1.11. Older versions do not seem to be available for download.

Please, for the love of God, if you release a BIOS upgrade without properly testing it, then state so clearly so that people do not waste their resources such on frustrating "upgrades."

Re: X120e: Suspend problems after BIOS upgrade.

I just updated my bios to 1.16 as well. My x120e seems to be fine, sleep/suspend is working fine. Hopefully you get your issue sorted out...
