New owner of a X121e 3045-7KG.
Tried to use Bitlocker with Windows 7 64bit installed in UEFI mode, but Bitlocker gives error: "The BIOS did not correctly communicate with the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). Contact the computer manufacturer for BIOS upgrade instructions." (FVE_E_NO_TPM_BIOS / 0x80310002).
Works with Windows installed in Legacy mode.
Possibly same UEFI bug as in http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/W-Series-ThinkPad-Laptops/W520-UEFI-and-Bitlocker/m-p/439857
Would it be possible to get the same fix applied to the X121e UEFI that was done to X220/T420/T520/W520?

Have you verified that your Lenovo ThinkPad X121e has a TPM chip built into it? These are usually only implemented on business systems, and since the X121e was targeted at the educational market, there may be models that do not have it.

I would suggest contacting Lenovo support in your country and specifically opening a ticket to request the BIOS fix you referenced for your model of ThinkPad X131e.
