Hey sorry, don't mean to be a pain but the one in the top left for window 10? I have windows 10 but just want to make sure.
I downloaded the driver file from here... this should install version 188.8.131.52
This resolved the problem for me. I haven't had to disconnect/reconnect to wifi since.

emiller213's link is to the standard installer, that should work as well.
My link is just to the more basic installer, which was the only way I could get it to install successfully. If I tried to use the standard one, nothing would happen.
If you are running Windows 10 there is a 90% chance its 64 bit. You'd have to google how to check for sure. That would be the top one.
To whoever suggested checking the power options; with no version of the driver have I ever had the ability control whether or not this adapter is disabled automatically to conserve power. One of the first things I checked. Never has been there on this machine with Win10.

Rolling the driver back to the previous version is the correct workaround. Lenovo and Intel are working on this problem.
The version on the support site has been rolled back too:

Since less than 0.1% of X1C6 users worldwide read this forum, why does Lenovo not push an update to such problems via Lenovo Vantage? Feels like random and unintelligent customer care.
Do you really expect end-users to somehow find this information and then be able to roll back a driver from Intel to make their WiFi work? WLAN is oxygen.
I’m normally a happy camper using ThinkPads for 21 years, but the bugs and problems in QC are piling up fast. You’re losing your mojo and nice keyboards and MILSPEC alone is not going to cut it moving forward.

Do not rollbadk or right click update driver . Just requires download and install latest driver from LENOVO SUPPORT.

So what should be the driver version under device manager for the NEW support update? Because I only see June 6 2019 update there. 21.0.0u is OLD and broken. Where is the link to the new WIFI driver for an X1 Carbon 6th gen device witb 8265 Intel Wireless?

Agree. This is beyond ridiculous now. The driver worked fine for so long and now all we get is a broken wifi driver?
