X1Carbon (Gen6, 2018) and USB-C Hybrid dock, no monitors detected

This only happens pre boot . Once logged into PGP encryption, it will come up on screen. Checked bios for any specific items that may cause it to not display. All seem correct. BIOS and Drivers have been updated. Firmware on dock has been done.

Re: X1Carbon (Gen6, 2018) and USB-C Hybrid dock, no monitors detected

Dear customer,

USB-C Hybrid Dock needs to use Windows DisplayLink driver to output the graphics contents to external monitor, unfortunately it doesn't work at PreBoot environment.

Note that DisplayLink driver is a kind of virtual graphics device which outputs the graphics contents via USB3.1 bus.

Refer to "Using the video putput connectors" of Hybrid USB-C Dock Users Guide
