I just tried to reset my x201 to factory state (Win 7 prof. 64Bit) from HDD.
I pressed the blue ThinkVantage duttom during start up and followed the instructions.
After copying the data, the recovery tool asked me for a reboot.
But the boot process stops with the message: "Windows failed to start"
Any ideas about the reason?
How to proceed?
Of course I don't have a Windows installation disk...

OK, problem solved with a linux usb stick.
The boot flag was set to the wrong partition.
I changed this with cfdisk, and now it works.
Strange, I never changed anything in the partition table.
So this should be a popular problem.
But I could not find anything via google.
