How do I check if the system has IPS screen and also what are the differences between normal IPS screen.

Answer

  1. Go to Control Panel
  2. System
  3. Device manager
  4. At monitors, the IPS monitor is listed as "Wide viewing angle & High density FlexView Display 1366 x 768".

 A simple comparison has been done by the guys at NotebookJournal.DE.

(note that their clip is in German, but you should be able to see the comparision as its very obvious. The left side is normal LCD and right side is the IPS screen.
