X220 Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0

Hi, I recently got Lenovo X220, and installed Crucial SSD c300 and transferred the image from the existing hard drive (so no clean install of windows 7).  From what I read, I should be able to take advantage of Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 since it was not a clean install and all partitions from the original hard drive is still preserved.  However,  can someone tell me how to turn this feature on?  Or is this automatic once the laptop recognizes SSD?  I looked under Toolbox, but could not find anything.  Thank you.

Re: X220 Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0

EE is a set of optimizations made to the operating systems and drivers. It's not an explicit setting.

Re: X220 Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0

Could you tell me how this set of optimization is in effect in my system?  Is there a way to check this?

Re: X220 Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0

There is no way to check if these tweaks are active or not. You just know that the tweaks are included with the pre-installed Lenovo image. I have not yet read some public statement that describe the details of this optimization so it's kind of a Lenovo secret.

Do you have some kind of performance issues or just curious?

Re: X220 Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0

I am just curious - I did re-install rapidboot, but honestly I could not tell any speed gains - maybe because it was already installed and running.  Thanks.
