X220/X230 9-cell batt, sleeve?

Dear guys,

It seems that I'll hit for a 21 hrs flight in 6 weeks time or so, therefor I'd need something for light protection of my X220, however I am using the 9-cell batt, and heck, Im even considering the 6-cell slice.... (might end up with a secondary 9-cell batt though)...

But, how to handle the sleeve matter with these options? I cant possibly be the first one that has had this thought.

Please share some great solutions.

Re: X220/X230 9-cell batt, sleeve?

Hello,

eBags has a tool on their web site called the Laptop Bag Finder that let's you type in the dimensions of a laptop and it will return compatible cases.  You might want to measure your X220 with the various batteries installed, type the dimensions in, and see what comes back as a result.

Re: X220/X230 9-cell batt, sleeve?

Thanks, checked the page, it suggests everything from 11.6" to 17" on the model... Obviously a 11.6 for a 12.5" wont be good in first place, and a 9-cell batt will mess it up further...
Ordered 2x 13.3" sleeves, hope they'll work Smiley Happy
