X220: wifi switch requires restart to be enabled

I have this problem with my ThinkPad X220 since I upgraded it from XP to Windows 7.

If I switch off the wireless radio switch on the left, it works instantly and disables all radios (as expected). But in order to have the radios work again I can't just turn the switch back on. It never works. I have to restart Windows and then it works.

Is there anything I can do to not restart Windows?

Re: X220: wifi switch requires restart to be enabled

Hello, lurofi

Some suite must be installed:
- Lenovo Power Management Driver
- Hotkey Features Integration package, to control wireless devices using Fn+F5 hotkey

x220 • Gobi 2000 3g | hdd, msata ssd, wwan, wifi, gps -- unique hand-made config
ThinkPad 25 Special Anniversary Edition. #retro. Signed by D.Hill
T470p | X1 Carbon Gen3 | Miix 2 10" | Yoga Tablet 2-1050F (Android) + BT Keyboard
ThinkPad Stack • 2.4/5 Wireless Router, HDD 1 TB, BT Speaker, Power Bank, Mobile Projector

Do it well, worse becomes itself
