Received my X220 shipped on July 10 with I7/USB3.0; it came with BIOS level 1.16 and worked out of the box with my INTEL 310 80GB Msata. I created the Recovery DVDs and restored to the msata and all is working good with the 320GB as secondary drive.

@All,
There is a new BIOS 1.18 and 1.19 which was released about the same time. Appreciate if you could test if this is BIOS update would enable the mSata on the X220.
Latest BIOS 1.19 -> I went through the readme for 1.18 and 1.19 however they did not include if they fix it, please test it and let me know if it enables the mSata. Thanks All

Worked perfectly for me. I can now see my Intel SSD listed in BIOS. It'll be next week before I get a chance to load up Ubuntu on it though.
