Well then PLEASE Lenovo, don't make this beta just available to some people.  This is the only feature I want the BIOS update to have, so please give me the beta version -- and I assume others feel similarly about this!

I'm having the exact same problem WWAN enabled x220i with an Intel mSATA 80GB installed.

Is it possible to get a hold of the 1.18 beta BIOS update and is it considered safe to leave the inactive card in the slot while waiting for the fix?

Can anyone provide me with the 1.18 beta BIOS?

Does this solve the problem at all? Anyone here who got the 1.18 BIOS and succeeded?

Not exactly. The guy didn't say if his SSD wasn't working before the 1.18. He may have a x220 build where the SSD already would have worked.

They're taking their time, July is over half over.

In the meantime, I've had a nonfunctional mssd for over a month. This dulls my enthusiasm for Lenovo just a bit.
