X230 Coating goes off / forms bubbles on edges

Hello!

I have bought my thinkpad x230 about 1 year ago. After a few months the corners lost its coating, which I assumed is quite normal (although I really, really pay attention to the notebook (always in sleeve or in docking station, if it's not used, etc, etc)).

But for a few months now, also the coating on the lid edge partially goes off AND is forming myterious bubbles (please see the attached picture(s)).

My question now: Is this a production error and I maybe get a new coating or do I have to live with this quality issue?

Bubble is usually forms when the rubber coating comes in touch with certain chemicals. I remember Acetone does some this.

Yeah, true that.

But I have no idea, where this should come from....the notebook stands on my desk in my living room, gets into my Crumbler bag (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31lHMJjlnoL._SY300_.jpg), then out of it at work and vice versa....

hmmm???
