[X230] Missing on-screen display in W7

2015-08-04, 15:26 PM

Hello,

I have foolishly uninstalled "On Screen Display" from Programs & Features, thinking it was some kind of junk/malware stuff.   This caused me to lose the brightness/volume on-screen display.  Duh!

I tried to follow earlier instructions on how to bring it back... I installed Lenovo Power Management which brought the "On Screen Display" application back, or at least it is showing under Programs & Features again, but after rebooting, I still don't have on-screen display when pressing volume or brightness keys.

What else can I do to bring it back?

This is under W7 Home 64-bit.

Thanks!

Hi

OSD is one of the tool Lenovo Hotkey Features Integration package includes. Get it on the Lenovo download page for your laptop model.
