This may be a double post, but I can't find my original posting. My x230 is approximately 30 days past warranty (Windows 7 Pro). Overnight it has become non-responsive. I have tried with and without battery, two different power supplies. I have tried, multiple times, holding the power button down to "discharge"? No lights showing, no response to any buttons being pushed. Within the last week I accepted Lenovo's prompting to update various files, including BIOS. My recollection it has been re-booted at least once since the Lenovo system updates. For what it is worth, I have always had the touchpad "turned off" via the software. Any help, thoughts, or insight would be appreciated.
