How do I make my Bluetooth adapter available - X240
(I am using Windows 7 Pro 64)
I have just replaced the motherboard in a Lenovo ThinkPad X240
I have noticed that Bluetooth is no longer working.
I attempted to reinstall the Bluetooth 20.20.0.2 Device manager 20.20.0 Control Panel (giww15ww.exe) & & hotkey software (n1qvub3w.exe) and Realtek Bluetooth Manager (giwb07ww.exe)
At the end of the attempted realtek Bluetooth manager install I am advised to plug in the device (I don't as it should be onboard) and click continue the install stops because it is not installed on your system so it fails.
In Control Panel >> System >> Device Manager there is no Bluetooth Radio nor is there Bluetooth under >> Network Adapters.
Bluetooth is enabled in Bios >> Security >> I/O
Accessories >> System Tools >> System Information >> System Summary >> Components >> Network >> Adaptor shows that the device is Installed, but not available. (see below for details)
Question? Please, advise as to how do I make it available?
Thanks!
