I have a brand new X260 which I am in the process of setting up. I've successfully run the Windows 10 updates, which have all installed correctly. However, I've run the Lenovo System Update a number of times and the same 7 optional updates keep re-appearing even when I have downloaded and (apparently) successfully installed them repeatedly. The optional updates involved are:
Synaptics Ultranav Driver - 10
Lenovo Power Management Driver - 10 [32,64]
Intel 8260 Bluetooth Driver - 10
Alcor Micro USB Smart Card Reader - 10
Realtek MultiCard Driver - 10
Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver - 10
Inter(R) Chipset Device Software - 10
The updates appear to download and install correctly but when I reboot the machine and re-run the System Update, the same 7 updates appear for download.
Any help with this would be appreciated.

I've now checked each of the 7 optional updates and have found that I either already have that version or a later one installed. Any ideas why System Update would keep prompting to update these as it's unnecessary/a retrograde step?

This is a known issue. Lenovo will make changes to System Update to resolve the issue.
