X260 Windows 7 keyboard battery mode keyboard input delayed

Hello,

I am running LenovoX260 with Windows 7, I additional installed the lenovo updatecenter. All drivers are updated according to lenovo7 update center.

Symptom: Basically, when the machine boots on battery all keyboard strokes are delayed for roughly 5 seconds or until an easy touch of touchpad or trackpoint -- whatever comes first. The machine has not a high load at this time and no keystroke is lost. It is just delayed strongly.

To make it more complicate, this symptom disappears until next reboot when I lock the screen with win+l and reunlock the screen with my password. It also disappears when I plugin the powerplug, but it also reappears when I unplug it again on the login screen. Once I relogged/unlocked this effect does not reappear.

Booting with power plugged in is fine.

Any ideas?

Hi, I have the same exact problem with my X260.

Could you share if you managed to solve it?

Thank you.

Re: X260 Windows 7 keyboard battery mode keyboard input delayed

I want to share that finally I managed to fix it by installing all the drivers from the "Optional Tab" on Lenovo System Update.

I'm not sure which driver that is really needed. I didn't have chance to test it one by one.
