X270 45w vs. 65w AC Adapter

2018-02-08, 0:13 AM

I can't seem to find a power input rating for the X270 I currently have on order. Of course, I know you can use a 65w with one, but it won't improve charge times if the amp input is limited. The store pages don't list the AC adapters output ratings by adapter and the C.S. chat reply was, "I don't have that information available."

I know the output on the 45w is 20v@2.25a simply because I already have one for my X240.

Anyone with a 65w willing to post the output for me would be greatly appreciated.

More appreciated would be anyone that happens to know what the X270's input ratings are so I can determine if charge times could be cut with a 65w.

TIA

All X series input you mean? If so, then the 65w would be a better choice.

Not quite sure what you're asking.  Per the base spec the X270 is configured with a 45W adapter - not 45W or 65W as some other models.  I doubt that you'd see much difference in charging with a 65W unit.
