X280 US / Arabic keyboard Alt Gr

Hi, I have a simple question I think! But I haven't found an answer anywhere. I have a new X280 with US / Arabic keyboard. I want to access the "third" characters on keys to the right (e.g. the arrowhead keys on " [ " and " ]" for Powerpoint etc) , but there is no Alt Gr key...

Does anyone know how to do this please?

Thanks in advance!

Re: X280 US / Arabic keyboard Alt Gr

Hi OmanTim,

welcome to lenovo Forums.

Could you please Add a English(United States) in OS Settings->Time&Language?

if do that, you can get a EN keyborad in  the lower right corner Notification bar.

or you can run "OSK" in CMD to get virtual keyboard

thanks,

Sam

Re: X280 US / Arabic keyboard Alt Gr

Hi Sam

Unfortunately not. I have tried the English keyboard via W10 language options, but no key gives me the access to the third character on the [ key. The OSK has an Alt GR key, but when I "press" it all the virtual keys go blank, and no key on the OSK has the arrowheads on [ and ].

I've added a screenshot of my keyboard. I am using the W10 option "US English Table for IBM Arabic", as this is the one that seemed to work with all other keys. But with no Alt Gr key, there must be a way to get to the third option for the [ and ] keys please?

Thanks

Tim
