As written in the topic I have a huge problem with the run-on-battery-management of my X301-System + Windows 7 SP1. I replaced the optical drive with a secondary battery (ultrabay). Both batteries were identified by the system and charged to 100%.
But when I run the system on battery, the system only uses the second battery. So if it runs down, the system turns into suspend/hibernate mode even if the primary battery is charged to 100%.
Why doesn't the system switch automatically to the primary battery, when the second one is empty? As long as the second battery is down, the system also won't start/resume from the suspend/hibernate mode. Does anyone know this problem? Is there a known solution for that problem? Thanks a lot for your help.
