X380: Wifi Turns off when connected to USB C Dock

2019-06-26, 11:31 AM

My companys X380's (and also T580's) have the problem that they turn off the Wi-Fi network interface when the USB C Dock which has a Ethernet connection present is connected. Sometimes when disconnecting the Wi-Fi does not turn back on.

Please note: Users are not supposed to change any adapter settings in the control panel to turn the Wifi Adapter back on because it needs administrative privileges. Windows Version is 10.0.16299 (known as 1709)

Changing the BIOS setting as described in this post does not help. The notebooks are already in production.

Thanks for help in advance.

Hi MartinLuck! Welcome to our forums community. Try running the update through the Think Vantage app. Install all detected updates. And also, check if there are available Windows update.
