X390 Yoga auto-rotate not working

2019-09-04, 6:37 AM

Hello,

On my new X390 Yoga the auto-rotate function is not working. It has the latests BIOS, Updates on it.

The auto-rotate does work when I manually restart the "Smartsense" service. However it only works for ~10-15seconds after I do this.

How to solve this?

Thanks,

Florian

What is the angle when you use the X390 Yoga? And Rotation lock is enabled when you use? (You could check the Rotation Lock from notify area.

Win10 is in tablet mode, rotation lock disabled. Laptop is in kiosk or table mode, rotation does not work in any direction. When I restart the Smartsense service, it works for a short time (some seconds).

Hi forspeed,

I have the same problem. But I don't even have a rotation lock button on my notification area anymore. I don't know what to do. My system and drivers are all up to date. In the settings there is not even the possibilty to choose auto rotation anymore.

Does someone know how to help?

Add me to the list as well. Just received mine today and the autorotate is very hit-or-miss. Nothing has worked to fix the problem, but so far all I can do is to move the screen to the normal laptop layout and then try to move the screen back. Any other good solutions out there? Thanks!

Here are screenshots of both the hardware IDs and driver details for the Intel Integrated Sensor Solutions driver on my computer. Thanks for your help!
