Hi,
I recently got win8 pro with media center 32bit edition installed,
and downloaded all those Win 7 drivers and Win 8 drivers (whichever were available) from our lenovo site.
All the hardware seem to be working fine except that of bluetooth,
which doesnt even install, The installation file downloaded and used was:
Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software II (7ZBV19WW.exe)
and i got an compatability issue reported
Then after looking in some forums i downloaded some interface drivers tried installing which says
my hardware does not support and the installation exits.
What do i do, how do i make my bluetooth work ?
The error message for bluetooth installation is provided below

Hi vickynash and welcome to the community,
I apologize for missing this thread.
I have an x61 running Windows 8 Pro 64 bit with Media Center and Windows installed a driver for the bluetooth from 2006.
It didn't install it right away. I turned it on with Fn+F5 and Windows 8 found new hardware and installed the driver. There was an optional update in Windows update around the second day after the 8 install.
It works, I have an old Rocketfish bluetooth mouse working on it now.

See the attachment for what I have for Bluetooth that works. Windows update automagically gave it to me.
When you press Fn+F5, does the on-screen display come up and show the wireless and bluetooth?
Dave
Edit: Alright, got an attachment to load.

my bluetooth hardware itself is not recognizable , so thts the main problem,
due to which my windows is not even ready to search for an driver,
while the custom driver of broadcom from lenovo website or from broadcom website i install says not compatible,
jus dyin to see my bluetooth led glow

checked b4 posting here itself but no luck,
atleast if thr is an yellow symbol which means its not working, i can try som or the other range of drivers
can troubleshoot and make it work,
but it doesnt even recognise my hardware/
even tried clicking on scan for hardware changes,
by switching the wifi/bluetooh off and on and then re-trying scan for hardware changes,
none of these worked,
i even tried using a third party software like driver genius but it doesnt detect it as well
Please check the screenshot provided for your reference
