That is usually done via the Connection Manger software supplied by an ISP.  I have no idea what is supplied with a 7667-CTO, but the Sierra Wireless generic Connection Manager (on the Sierra web site) might work.

Cheers,

Re: X61s Sierra wireless activation

Access Conections (FnF5) has support for the WWAN card and has worked for me without any extra software.  I just create a new WWAN type profile and enter the correct Access Point Name (APN) if it isn't already on the SIM.  I can't say whether this will work for your ISP though.

Re: X61s Sierra wireless activation

The 7666-A26 does not have a WWAN card, unless you added one.

Re: X61s Sierra wireless activation

yes it has...when i open the lid to the 2 x memory slots...its a simcard holder there..it looks like it is on the motherboard..(same board as the 2 memory slots)

Re: X61s Sierra wireless activation

Yes, AFAIK all X61's and x61s's have a SIM card holder on the motherboard, but unless you added it, you do not have a PCIe WWAN mini card, which lives under the right side of the palm rest. The X61s model you have does not come pre-configured with a WWAN card.
