X61s Swap Verizon EVDO Rev. A WWAN card for AT&T HSDPA card

2008-01-12, 3:44 AM
My X61s has a Verizon WWAN card installed which works well, but I am about to take a job which requires more international travel and would like to swap the WWAN card to HSDPA.

Is this possible?

Good question, but I'd like to do just the opposite... go from AT&T to Verizon. Anyone? I'd assume that you'd need the card and SIM card both.

From what I have learned in this forum and others, you may swap the card as long as it is a Lenovo approved one and has Lenovo RFRU#, the "whitelist" can be found here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-62906

Good luck!
